Let's build a playbook
to get your time back.

How to automate your small business, starting with the work that runs through you by hand: intake, follow-up and scheduling. One-time, three to four weeks, $2,000.

You're the bottleneck,
and you know it.

Most of the routine work in a small business runs on the owner's memory. It works until the phone gets busy.

Three to four weeks. Yours to keep.

  1. 1

    Map where your time goes

We walk through how work actually comes in and moves through your business today: intake, prioritizing, follow-up.

  2. 2

    Write the playbook

The way your business runs, written down: who does what, in what order, and what happens when something comes in.

  3. 3

    Build two workflows

Workflows for the steps that eat the most of your day, set up so you and your team can run them yourselves.

Want us to run it for you afterward? That's a monthly plan, quoted in writing like everything else.

Who is the playbook for?

Owner-run local service businesses, from a solo owner up to about 50 people, where the owner is the bottleneck: trades and contractors, event vendors, studios and salons, and small offices that take requests by hand.

Which tools do you work with?

We build around the tools you already use, such as Square, Google, Microsoft 365 and Outlook, forms and spreadsheets. New software only comes in when nothing you have can do the job.

Is invoicing included?

Yes, as part of follow-up: the invoice goes out when the job is marked done, and reminders go out on unpaid ones, in the invoicing tool you already use. We never take payments for you.

Can you set up booking links and reminders?

Yes. Scheduling is one of the three places we start: a booking link your customers use, with reminders sent before the appointment.

Where do you work?

We're based in Arvada and work in person across the Denver metro and the Front Range. The playbook work also runs over video, so we can do it from anywhere.

Is this the same as the free Compass Audit?

No. The free Compass Audit is a 30-minute read of your website, Google listing and search presence. The Ops Automation Playbook is paid work on how your business runs day to day.

How long does it take?

Three to four weeks from start to finished playbook and workflows.
